Who we are

A US organization with a field team on the ground.

We listen first, partner locally, and create practical pathways — education, skills, wellbeing, girls' programs, and rural outreach — so young people can move forward.

How we work

Clear roles. Direct program spending.

Donors give through GoFundMe. The US entity holds and disburses funds. The field team delivers programs. Payments go to schools, vendors, and training providers — not distributed as cash to individuals.

Our mission

Equip young people to rise.

To connect young people with the skills, relationships, wellbeing support, and real-world opportunities they need to shape their own lives and strengthen their communities.

Young people looking toward their future

Our vision

A future where every young person can thrive.

We envision an Equatorial Guinea where geography, gender, or circumstance never determines how far a young person can go.

Our story

Built from listening.

Upsera began with conversations — with students looking for direction, families seeking support, and community leaders determined to create more opportunities close to home.

Those conversations revealed a shared challenge: young people had ambition, but access to training, mentorship, technology, and safe spaces was uneven. We set out to close that gap with programs designed around local realities.

Today, our model brings together a US nonprofit entity, an Equatorial Guinea field team, educators, employers, volunteers, and communities around one goal: helping the next generation turn possibility into progress.
